Typical Applications
Radar Signal Simulation
The 1452D / 1452G agile signal generator, combined with the 78110A radar signal simulation software, can simulate various radar signals. It can generate pulse train radar signals with intra-pulse modulation, simulate pulse repetition frequency radar signals, and set the envelope shape of pulses. The intra-pulse modulation methods include linear frequency modulation, nonlinear frequency modulation, triangular frequency modulation, BPSK, QPSK, Barker code, and others. PRF(Pulse repetition frequency) types include PRF staggering, PRF jitter, and PRF sliding. Pulse envelopes mainly include rectangular, trapezoidal, raised cosine, root raised cosine, and exponential
shapes.
Radar Scenario Simulation
The 1452D / 1452G agile signal generator supports high-density PDW data stream playback at 6 million pulses per second. When combined with the 78110B radar scenario simulation software, it can transform a standard instrument into a flexible and versatile complex electromagnetic environment signal simulator, enabling laboratory-based testing of electromagnetic environments that would normally be conducted in the field.
The 78110B radar scenario simulation software can simulate large-scale, multi-radar dynamic electromagnetic environment signals by setting relevant characteristic parameters such as frequency, amplitude, pulse width, repetition frequency, arrival time, arrival angle, and intra-pulse modulation. It can also drive a single or multiple agile signal generators via network interfaces to simulate radar radiation signals, meeting user requirements for constructing radar signal environments and conducting hardware-in-the-loop simulation testing of array receiving equipment in a laboratory setting.
